Watch: Three Lanes designed for changing community needs

Three Lanes Lyttelton Street delivers ŌCHT’s 18th new community - and 360th new bedroom - since the Trust started its building programme in 2019.

Uru Kahikatea Lane, Te Koroī Lane and Te Māpara Lane replace the old Glue Place social housing complex on a 10,074m² site on the corner of Lyttelton Street and Sparks Road, Spreydon.

The lanes comprise 28 one-bedroom, 20 two-bedroom, 13 three-bedroom and four four-bedroom homes (65 homes all-up) arranged across 11, two-storey buildings.

Three Lanes was designed by XA Architects and built by Consortium Construction. It opened in October 2025.
