Challenges are chances

Kia ora katou

It’s easy for people to feel overwhelmed by the challenges they might face in life.

They might look at things like a past criminal record, a health condition, or a history of addiction and see them as roadblocks, reasons they can't get a job.

But I see something very different.

I see a story of resilience, determination, and courage.

My job is to help you reframe these challenges and see them as a source of strength.

While a challenge may feel like a disadvantage, the skills you’ve used to navigate it are highly valuable.

Someone who has managed addiction has incredible perseverance and self-discipline.

A person with a criminal history has had to learn to navigate complex systems and advocate for themselves, showing a high degree of resourcefulness.

And someone living with a physical limitation has developed powerful adaptability and problem-solving skills.

We all have challenges in our lives, but it's what we do with them that defines us.

The goal of our coaching isn’t to ignore these parts of your story, but to help you find the positive skills and capacities you’ve gained from them.

We can work together to build a plan that focuses on what you can do, not what you can’t.

Your story is unique, and it’s full of strengths you may not even realise you have.

Let’s work together to help you recognise those strengths and turn them into a new chance to build a fulfilling future.

Until next time!
