Three Lanes Lyttelton Street taking final shape

ŌCHT’s Three Lanes development is nearing completion, with fit-out work on the final homes well advanced. Inside, trades are adding the finishing touches — joinery, fittings, and finishes — with many homes almost ready for move-in.

Outside, landscaping is transforming the site. Paths and yards are in place, planting is underway, and fencing is being completed home by home. Roads and car parks are also being laid, linking the new community together.

Part of ŌCHT’s approach is standardising properties, so the homes share a familiar look and feel with the Carey Street development. This design strategy helps deliver high-quality homes efficiently and consistently.

Three Lanes is the second ŌCHT development to offer Secure Home, a Progressive Home Ownership initiative. Secure Home provides qualifying low-to-median income families with children the opportunity to buy a long-term leasehold in a brand-new home at a much lower upfront cost than the private market. By separating land and building costs, Secure Home makes homes more affordable, offering stability, the chance to build equity through mortgage repayments, and a valuable alternative to renting.

In total, 65 homes are being delivered — a mix of one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes, including social homes, affordable rentals and Progressive Home Ownership options. Thanks to strong coordination across all teams, the first homes are set to open later this year.

Designed by PXA Architects and built by Consortium Construction, Three Lanes is created with sustainability and community in mind. Once complete, it will be a warm, modern, and connected neighbourhood, ready to bring new life to Lyttelton Street.
