Introducing ŌCHT Employment Coach Logan

If you’re thinking about work, training or volunteering, Logan is here to help.

ŌCHT’s new Employment Coach supports people to get work ready and find meaningful opportunities.

Logan brings experience in business, project management, hospitality and mental health advocacy.

He knows how tough it can be to return to work — and how important it is to have someone backing you.

“There’s so much potential out there. My job is to help people bring it to the surface.”

He’s been working with tenants with a wide range of skills and experiences, from IT, photography and design to hospitality, animal care, manufacturing and mental health support.

Some have worked in freight, shearing sheds or as carers.

Many faced challenges — but Logan focuses on what’s possible.

“There’s real value in lived experience,” he says.

“Part of my role is helping people see their potential, even if they can’t yet.”

Logan offers one-on-one support to:

  • Talk through goals and aspirations

  • Make a personal employment plan

  • Learn digital job search skills

  • Write CVs and cover letters

  • Build interview confidence

  • Identify training or study options

  • Connect with trusted employers

  • Stay supported in a new job

Whether you’re ready to start work or just want to chat about your options, Logan’s here to help at your pace.

“You don’t have to have it all figured out,” he says.

“You just need to take the first step.”
