Our services at Alert Level 2

We’re in COVID-19 Response Alert Level 2 (Delta) – and that means masks and social distancing.

ŌCHT services in Alert Level 2 (Delta)

Contacting us

The ŌCHT office is open 8.30am – 5pm and our 24/7 phone line (0800 624 456) continues to operate.

  • Our office is open but visitors need to wear a mask.
  • We also have to manage the number of people we have in our lobby, to meet social distancing rules.
  • When visiting the office, please sign a contact tracing form and use the COVID-19 tracer app.
  • Please don’t come to the office if you’re unwell.
  • Please only come to the office if you really need to – consider contacting us by phone (0800 624 456) or email admin@ocht.org.nz.

ŌCHT in your community

We can visit you and your community.

  • We’ll socially distance (by keeping 2m away from others).
  • We’ll wear a mask where we can’t socially distance.
  • We’ll also wear a mask when visiting your home.

ŌCHT maintenance

Ordinary maintenance continues and you’ll see contractors around your complex.

  • They’ll wear masks where social distancing isn’t possible.
  • Please stay 2m away from them, outside and inside your home.
  • Please consider going into another room in your home if social distancing isn’t possible while repairs are made. This is for your protection as well as theirs.

ŌCHT lawns and common garden areas

Our contractors will continue to tend to lawns and gardens.

  • They’ll wear masks where social distancing isn’t possible.
  • Please stay 2m away from them, at all times.

ŌCHT housing people

People can now move into their ŌCHT home.

  • Please welcome your new neighbours when you see them around your complex – but please keep social distancing, and remember to wear a mask where this isn’t possible.

Community lounges

Lounges will remain closed until Monday, September 13 at the earliest.

  • The Level 2 Delta rules are more restrictive than the old Level 2 rules. Lounges are now considered public places.
  • Lounge users will have to wear masks and keep at least 2m from each other.
  • The number of people allowed in lounges will be restricted to meet Alert Level 2 rules.

A lot has changed since we were last in Level 2. Please remember to be kind, be patient, and to look after one another.
